Mayer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac illustrating the Imperial German eagle(Dienstauszeichnung der NSDAP, II. Klasse fr 15 Jahre mit Etui). Instituted 2 April 1939. (1939 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion, surrounded by a circular oak leaf wreath and overlaid by a German national eagle
