A German Dak (Deutsches Afrika Korps) Artillery Field Cap United Republic of message in black ink onThis is a well preserved German DAK (Deutsches Afrikakorps German Africa Corps) field cap (Einheitsmtze), constructed of olive drab coloured cotton fabric. This cap features non removable side skirts, and two breather holes on either side, along with a cardboard reinforced visor at the front. Towards the front of the cap is a BeVo style Tropical Wehrmacht eagle in silvery grey and light brown machine embroidery, along with a matching tri colour
