An Early Silver Grade Wound Badge By The Official State Mint Of Vienna Auction Archive dated 6 June 1939A second war German Verwundetenabzeichen; oval shaped silvered bronze; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, and a functional hinge catch assembly; measuring 43. 8 mm x 36. 4 mm; in extremely fine condition; in matching case of issue.
