Prussia, Kingdom. A Royal House Order of Hohenzollern, Member’s Eagle Auction signed by Major Biddle U(Kniglicher Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Adler der Inhaber). (Museum Copy) Instituted 18 January 1851. (1861 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a double sided Prussian imperial eagle executed in exceptional detail, clutching an orb and sceptre, the obverse overlaid by a central enameled Hohenzollern coat of arms, with a circular halo style ring surrounding the head and bearing a raised inscription of VOM FELS
