Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised profile of General Arthur Arz von Strauenburg, circumscribed by an abbreviated name and title, the reverse bearing a depiction of an axe striking a bear (symbolizing Austria Hungarys efforts against Russia), unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
