Two Gold First War Canadian Badges Hold 1914: Awarded the Military MeritWWI 13th Infantry Battalion Gold Stickpin Gold, weighing 2. 2 grams, hallmarked and marked "10K" on the reverse of the insignia, marked "PATRE . ISD1909" with an engraved animal insignia on the stickpin receiver, 6. 2 mm x 11. 7 mm, on a 57. 6 mm stickpin with receiver, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec and Nova Scotia with mobilization headquarters at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P. C.
