Russia, Soviet Union. An Order of the Patriotic War, I. Class, Type II, c. 1943 Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic During the Battle of Vimy( Orden Otechestvennoy Voyny). Instituted May 20th, 1942. (c. 1943 issue). Of three piece construction of Gold, silver, and gilded silver, consisting of a red enameled five pointed star with Gold straight rays (denoting I. Class) as well as a crossed saber and Mosin rifle in between the arms of the cross, with a central circular red enamelled medallion bearing a crossed Hammer and Sickle insignia in Gold, surrounded by a white enamelled ring inscribed
