An extremely well preserved Kriegsmarine female auxiliarys board cap, constructed of dark blue wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which slope downward toward the front. A length of golden yellow wool piping fully trims the top edge of the walls. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark blue rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow
