Schlageter Martyrdom Badge Newly Listed The silvered bronze crossguard isA 1936 Schlageter badge; in blackened metal (magnetic); horizontal pinback; unmarked; measuring 42 mm x 35 mm; extremely fine condition. Footnote: Schlageter was a military activist and active member of the NSDAP Tarnorganisation Arbeitspartei. He was found responsible for multiple bombings in France by a French military tribunal and was sentenced to death on May 26th, 1923.
