Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward facing profile of Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst of Saxe Weimar Eisenach, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst, the edge stamped with a mark of SILBER and content
