A scarce decoration, in silvered enamels, featuring a red and blue enamelled five point star with clusters of smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presenting the monogram RPR, reverse bearing the date 30 DECEMBRE 1947, numbered 729 on the 7 oclock arm, measures 46. 7 mm (w) x 53. 0 mm (h), on original ribbon, light, remains extremely fine. Contained in the original case of issue, orange exterior marked Ordinul Steaua
