Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of Icarus leaping from a cliff, the reverse bearing an inscription of TAGUNG DER LEISTUNGSGEMEINSCHAFT DER DEUTSCHN ORDENHERSTELLER (MEETING OF GERMAN MEDAL MANUFACTURERS), topped by a double headed eagle flanked by an inscription of WIEN 1944 (VIENNA 1944), the obverse maker marked RTH,
