Luftwaffe Afrika Cufftitle certificate_of_authenticity s cap insigniaLuftwaffe Afrika Cufftitle measures approximately 43cm (or 17 inches) in total length, in dark blue felt backing, with the word Afrika in a block script, machine embroidered in a silvery grey cotton thread, in worn condition. This cufftitle was instituted on March 6, 1942 and was authorized for wear by all members of Luftwaffe Units that were stationed in North Africa, and by those who were wounded in North Africa.
