Croatia, Independent States. An Ante Pavelic Bravery Medal, by T. Krivak GTRexclude otherwise in extremely fine condition(Srebrna Kolajna Poglavnik Ante Paveli za Hrabrost). Instituted December 27th, 1941. Constructed of silver, the obverse with the leftward facing bust of Ante Paveli, circumscribed by his name in Croatian, the reverse bearing a large superimposed U with a central flaming grenade, dated 1941 and inscribed Ready to Defend the Fatherland and For Bravery in capitalized Croatian, marked on the rim TK denoting maker and goose mark denoting . 800 silver
