A Cavalry Sword, Persian Cossack Brigade, 1881-1917 Hold scattered wear in the frostingThe sword measures at 97 cm in total length, with a solid silver blade measuring at 3 cm wide, and has an Eastern Arabic engraving along the top of blade denoting the numerals 1 8 8 4 4, the rest of the blade is blank. The hilt is in brass and features a wooden grip with slanted ribs and a simple pommel. The hilt also has the Eastern Arabic numerals 1 8 8 4 4 engraved on the brass pommel. The scabbard is made from iron and has a loop affixed to it,
