Obverse bearing a portrait of Franz Josef, reverse inscription reads SIGNUM MEMORIAE surrounded by laurel wreath, 33. 5 mm, evidence of light wear on obverse, on original triangular ribbon, extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Jubilee Medal (Signum Memoriae) was a military award of AustriaHungary. Established on 21 October 1898 by Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, it commemorates 50 years of his reign.
