A German General Assault Badge Newly Listed An 1859 French Italy Campaign(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen); Constructed of oval silvered zink; with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre; the reverse plain missing its vertical pinback, catch, and hinge; measuring 42. 82 mm (w) x 53. 79 mm (h); weighing 30. 3 grams; in overall better than fine condition.
