Germany, Heer. An Infantry Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, By Josef Feix & Söhne certificate_of_authenticity in January 1943(Infanterie Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika and joined together at the bottom by a bowtie ribbon, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire
