Admiral Yamamoto, Japanese Minister of the Navy Size:M: 60 x 40cm 'Warriors Resting'Admiral Yamamoto, Japanese Minister of the Navy, c1904 1905. Yamamoto was Navy Minister during the Russo Japanese War of 1904 1905 and was responsible for appointing Admiral Togo Commander in Chief of the Japanese Combined Fleet that decisively defeated the Russian Navy at the Battle of Tsushima.
