Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1854 1918 issue). Constructed of 18K Gold with enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilded monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve oclock arm topped by an
