Germany, Weimar Republic. A St. George Order, Breast Star, by Godet Archive Silver gilt Naval Aviation Pilot(St. Georgs Orden). Two piece construction, in silvered bronze with red and white enamels, maker marked "GODET" on the reverse, measuring 61. 7 mm (w) x 61. 5 mm (h), vertical pinback, light crazing evident in the red enamels on the arm at 12 o'clock beside the centrepiece, otherwise the enamels are intact, near extremely fine.
