Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Em/Nco’s M41 Tropical Field Cap, French Manufacture Auction Archive War Medal 1939-1945 with MID(Kriegsmarine Tropenfelddienstmtze). An extremely well preserved Kriegsmarine EM NCOs M41 tropical field cap, constructed of a tan coloured cotton blend. The cap is fully surrounded by decorative side panels secured in place by machine stitching. It is flanked on each side by dual ventilation holes, reinforced with bronze eyelets. Stitched into the peak is an insignia in the form of a tan coloured cotton blended backer bearing a golden yellow machine
