The Vincent Grenache vineyards range in age between 80 to 100 years (the babies of the bunch). The importance of old vines in Australia is understated. The old, rugged, gnarly vines make concentrated wines that resist drought in the arid and hot climate. The old vines also bring an elegance and purity to the wine, which breaks the trend of sweet, oaky Barossa Grenache.
