Germany, Luftwaffe. A Second Pattern Dagger, With Hanger, By Lauterjung & Sohn United Republic of An ornately shaped bronze plaque(Luftwaffe Dolch mit Anhnger). A well preserved second pattern Luftwaffe dagger, measuring 430 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. The blade is fully unmarked with the exception of a makers mark on the reverse ricasso of PUMA, SOLINGEN, for the firm of Lauterjung & Co., topped by the companys classic puma head logo. It sits firmly within a silvered alloy upper
