Saxon fibulae Temple of Jupiter Mime hopes to use SiegfriedSaxon fibulae, (1910). Brooches used for fastening capes or mantles, found at a Saxon burying place near Banbury in Oxfordshire. Fibulae were generally found in pairs, each two corresponding to the right and left shoulders. They were mostly concave, and made of copper or brass.
