CHATEAU DU CARTILLON HAUT MEDOC FRANCE 2016 Spirits The whiskey is further enhancedCh du Cartillon is a Cru Bourgeois that comes from Lamarque, a village in the gap between Margaux and St Julien and close to Moulis, so in decent Haut Medoc territory. The vines are planted in quite deep gravel and sand and they comprise mostly Merlot, a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, but unusually even now in Bordeaux, 25% Petit Verdot.
