In silver gilt, a white enamelled star with ball finials, the obverse medallion featuring a pyramid with two stars and date 1961 below, encircled by inscription REPUBLIQUE FEDERALE DU CAMEROUN, the reverse medallion featuring the geographic outline of the country with inscription TRAVAIL PATRIE PAIX, surmounted by a wreath and worn on officers ribbon with large rosette, measures 42 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), enamels intact
