Germany, Heer. An Early Tropical Infantry Unteroffizier Shoulder Strap Archive Blade in silvered iron(Heer Tropen Schulterklappe fr Infanterie). Constructed of field grey cotton twill, trimmed with light brown khaki piping used by Infantry and Flak troops, bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, the reverse with an integral strap bearing a reinforced buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), an early example largely used by Afrikakorps personnel in extremely fine condition.
