Instituted in 1971. Four piece construction, cross insignia in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, mounted to an eight pointed silver star base, the reverse cartouche in bronze gilt, unmarked, measuring 75. 5 mm (w) x 75. 5 mm (h), vertical pinback, chipping and loss evident in the red enamels on the "Mrito Braslia" centrepiece, contact marks, very fine. Footnote: The Order of Merit of Braslia was instituted on January
