Accompanied by a copy of page 4016 from the London Gazette 25544 of Tuesday, July 16, 1895, confirming Sepoy Thamman on the List of Casualties in Chitral from March 3rd to April 20th, 1895, having suffered a "gunshot wound". He is listed on the Casualty Roll of the 14th
