Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Dress Dagger, by Carl Eickhorn United Republic of M-3246 Gunner Vallentine (sic) William(Luftwaffe Dolch fr Offiziere). A well preserved Luftwaffe Officers dress dagger, measuring 42. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic logo of a squirrel clutching a sword. The blade sits securely within a silvered alloy crossguard, the obverse of
