Description
with a couple of divets on the bottom--one just the right shape for a thumb gripping it
and there is also what looks like an SG at lower left
and I do believe with a little hanging hardware one could figure out how to mount it on the wall
I've seen these described as both Native American as well as Eastern European
Colorful Boy and Warriors, c. 1920s-30s Naive Graphite and Crayon Drawing on 19th c. Ledger Paper cut paper with a couple of divetsThis is one of five drawings on ledger paper I am listing, all found together, with some 19th c. writing on some of the pages, but the drawings done a few decades later, I'm guessing 1920s or 30s, when a kid, or a couple of them, got a hold of the ledger This one I love for this colorfully crayoned, dapper looking boy in yellow pants and cap and color blocked jacket or cardigan, with wonderfully bright eyes. And all the better for being juxtaposed
