Curious Antique Oil Painting on Man in Dressing Gown About to Swat a Fly! woman doll 2 5/8" t x 2I found this at a great estate sale in Shutesbury, MA filled with daguerreotypes (sadly sold as one lot), primitives, and all sorts of things, and it made me laugh for the situation, and for his red stocking cap, and for his face! It is a bed slipper I believe that he holds in his hand, its sole about to meet this pesky fly on the wall, whose buzzing one would guess woke our fellow up. A good one to hang by the light switch in the bedroom perhaps, or
