I found him at a great estate sale

There is some darkening and one small nick in the wood at the round of the handle

with just a little cracking to the surface of the wood visible here and there

In any case, I think it's pretty good, and a fun gift for a reluctant outdoors person. Fyi, Grand Lake Stream is in the northeastern most part of Maine,
