Delicate Pencil Drawing of Flowering Branches with Thorns (Hawthorn?) fruit deeply incised Art Nouveau inspiredI believe it may be a few branches from a hawthorn tree that are the subject of this lovely old botanical drawing, the delicate white flowers of which are counterpointed by their thorny stalks. A finely done, elegant drawing in any event, which for me at least carries a bit of a larger life metaphor: watch out! 10" x 7", with a bit of unevenness to the right edge and a bit of smudging staining, mostly around the edges. Drawing is still crisp and clear
