DOT, 1945 Brass Trench Art (Removable) Dorcel Lighter, Monogrammed JPA on Reverse old child's drawing This is a terrific hand-thrownI was drawn to the elusive and evocative DOT engraved in perfect trench art style on the face of this Dorcel lighter, 1945 on the flip lid just above it. There is what I take for a monogram on the other side, JPA. Maybe DOT was his sweetheart? Or stood for an event or location? Or Dept of Transportation?!
