Women with Swords vs. the Beast! Antique Hand-drawn Pen and Ink Postcard, 1908 British Postmark prohibition book box but I find it exactlyThis hand drawn ink and watercolor postcard was mailed from London to Eastborough, England, in 1908, with wishes from son to father (I believe) to cheer up. And, I must say I find these woman in colorful unitards looming over demon beast, swords in hand, pretty cheering still! The drawing looks very French to me, in the manner of vaudeville burlesque songbooks of the same era. Fabulous. 5 1 2" x 3 7 16" and in great condition.
