19th. C. Staffordshire Transferware Hare Plate white slip glazed and with a nice warmA rare c. 1830s 40s Staffordshire transferware Hare plate, because I love a bunny, and love the simple "hare" label describing this one. This was made as a child's plate and would be good now for teatime just the right size for a biscuit or two, then for holding one's teabag. Happy hoppy. 4 7 8" in diameter with a very fine hairline crack running up from the hare's back, minor.
