Hand-painted Old Bentwood Bunny Box late 19th century painting This glaze appears again onJust in time for Easter, this sweet painted bentwood box with bunny couple on top. This definitely has age to it, and written in pencil on the bottom is III Grade Forest City, (Pennsylvania?), so perhaps it was the Easter time creation of a third grader years ago. The drawing of the rabbits was scratched a bit into the creamy white paint, then decorated with green and lavender paint, with lavender used around the lip of the lid as well. Id guess 1930s
