Excellent Antique Carved Wooden (Presumed Odd Fellowsl) "I" in Best Red, Blue and Gold Paint cardboard animals and they seem to beI would guess this hand carved wooden capital "I" in original paint was once joined by an OOF, to stand for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows; I do not know that for certain but have a pretty good hunch. But, really, what more does one need than an "I"??! Independent, individual, iconic! And of course a bold, gilded "I", with some American red and blue to boot, seems to pretty much perfectly describe this era; me me me! 8" t x 3 1 2" w x 1 7 8" d.
