It was acquired by Shermin Williams in 1929
Sold as found with old masking tape around the borders and on the back

Each one homes in on a different aspect or aspects this one detailing stems (scaly, hairy, etc), appendages (sheath, tendril, etc) and calices (imbricated, double calyx, etc with 30 different sorts described and carefully illustrated in watercolor.
