I purchased this piece from a very fine consignment/antiques shop just outside of Boston

1900-1920s I believe

which I found in New Hampshire and scooped up without too much deliberation

2 1/2" t x 2 5/8" l and in very good condition

Loaded 1947 Postmarked Campbell's Tomato Soup Cover Addressed to Allen B. Dumont Inc. (with US Army Stamp) metal work I purchased this piece fromThis envelop, postmarked April 23, 1947 in Camden, NJ, of course struck me as much as an Andy Warhol as a Campbell's Soup company cover impossible now to look at the Tomato Soup can graphic otherwise (and one is reminded of what a great graphic it is.) And the layers of specific information here make this one all the better between the post war "Enlist U. S. Army" stamp in red and the typed address of the recipient: Allen B. Dumont, Inc. Allen B.
