What I find especially intruiging about it are the cartoonish pyrograph designs

Boxing Match Photograph valenti italy which one barely noticesAnother old boxing match photo, this one for me all about the whole mise en scene, including layers upon layers of onlookers, from those lined up in the near aisles, to those way in the back, hanging from the rafters! Great faces and postures and gestures all around, captured with clarity. Found in upstate NY near Albany I'd guess not far from where it was taken, but I'm not certain. c. 1900 I believe, mounted to board. 8 1 2" x 6 1 2" and in good
