Curious Hand-built Clay Frog (or Mickey?) Head horse pattern Box measures 8 5/16" xSuch a weird one! Much of what I love about it is that if you look at it one way, as if those orbs at top are eyeballs, it's definitely a frog, but if you perceive the intents closer to the mouth as eyes then I'd swear it's Mickey Mouse, with ears above. Happily, it can be both at once, and wonderfully strange either way, and while I'd guess made as an incense holder I'd just treat it as a head. Signed E. W. on the back, who could have been a
