I believe this one dates to the 1940s or so and features a three mast ship with American flag raised at the stern

about the same time that painter Paul Signac became aware of Henri Rousseau

with the splint itself painted gold in those areas

Clean inside and great turned upside down to use as a pedestal for other things too

Ultra Atmospheric Seascape #2, Old Real Photo Postcard utility box I believe this one datesI purchased this and two other real photo postcards of a similar manner, listed separately all the work of one person I believe, who I think may have failed to achieve the results they were seeking, but which I find very beautiful things as near abstract and super moody landscapes seascapes. This one looks like an infinite expanse of sea to me, and a bit as if a 35 mm projected slide or film still shot of the screen. Very dreamy and atmospheric. 5 1
