4 3/8" beak to tail x 1 1/4" w x 1 1/2" t and perches perfectly as it is

though maybe a bit earlier than that

9 5/8" x 7 7/8" x 3/8"

I did add a couple of tiny pins to the front right corner where nails had been lost

The thickness of the top, combined with the very curvaceous forms of the legs make it feel almost like something else entirely too I keep thinking of the classically inspired deconstructionist postmodern architecture of Charles Moore, say, but also somehow of de Chirico paintings, and also Cubist collages.
