Michele et Patrice Rion, Chambolle Musigny Vv Vintage:2018 40-70 year old vines(from Les Danguerrins, Aux Croix, Les Pas de Chat and Les Condemennes). A discreet application of wood surrounds airy, cool and pretty plum liqueur that is laced with violet and tea nuances. The intrinsic refinement of Chambolle is on display with the generously proportioned middle weight flavors that retain good precision on the palate coating and sneaky long finish where a hint of bitter cherry pit slowly emerges.
