Wonderful, Impressionistic Oil on Linen Rough and Rocky Seascape teacups I really have no sense

I really have no sense of the age or origins of this set

and believe it dates from the 1960's

made in Portland in 1924

with a bit of cloudiness to the black lacquer on the front of the box and a little bit of cracking to the lacquer on the underside of the box near the bottom edge
