Intense Preacher with Bible and Raised Hand, Antique Cabinet Card Photo handblown Perhaps the wood for thisA wonderfully intense photograph, late 19th century I believe, with this preacher looking very fire and brimstone evangelical to me. (He reminds me a bit of Joaquin Phoenix in The Master, too!) I love that his feet didn't quite make it into the frame making it seem as if he were standing right there, having walked up the the alley and now arriving at one's doorstep, delivering The Word. 6 1 2" x 4 1 4" as mounted.
