Hand-painted Treen Easter Egg, 1891, with Painter's Palette on Reverse Victorian watercolor sketch jumping through rings and thingsNot in perfect shape, but I just cant resist things like thisall that effort someone put into painting it, including pretty fabulous painters palette with brushes on the flip side. The interior of the egg was painted too, a lemony cream, and Id guess it was delivered as an Easter gift with some added treat inside. There are a couple of hairline cracks on the the palette side that run all the way through the wood and which look to have been carefully
